Gear Picks
Community-sourced knowledge on gear selection. The community already did the testing, we just organized it.
How These Picks Work
The Grid tells you what to buy. These deep dives explain the why. We aggregate community consensus from Reddit, forums, and long-term ownership reports, then break down the technical specs into practical knowledge. We don't test products in-house. We surface what thousands of actual owners already figured out.
Gear assumes the basics are handled. See where you actually stand with the Prepared Dad Test.
