Prepared Dad Assessment

Know Where You Stand

Real physical tests + honest self-assessment = your actual readiness score.

Priorities First. Then Gear.

Because you can't swipe a card for discipline, skills, or reps.

A real self-assessment to find your gaps. Not a meme quiz.

What This Measures

5 domains: Physical (measured), Skills, Medical, Family Playbook, and Sustainment. The goal isn't to make you feel good or bad—it's to identify your actual bottleneck so you know where to focus.

You're more likely to need medical skills than tactical skills. More likely to face a car breakdown than a home invasion. More likely to have a financial emergency than a natural disaster. This assessment is weighted toward the high-probability stuff that actually matters.

A lot of "emergencies" are just money problems dressed up as crises.

A $1,000 emergency fund and basic first-aid training will save you more often than a $500 plate carrier. This assessment reflects that reality.

Physical Tests (~10 min)

3 actual tests: Balance, Push-ups, Burpees. No equipment needed. Real measurements, not guesses.

20 Questions (~8 min)

Skills, Medical, Family Playbook, Sustainment. Same questions every time—track your progress.

Your physical score comes from actual tests.

We use the same protocols and scoring as our full ODI Physical Test. When you retake this assessment, score changes reflect real improvement—not different questions or self-perception.

Want to go deeper on physical? The full ODI test includes 9 tests with ROI-based training prioritization—because training your weakest area might actually be the worst use of your time.

Takes about 18 minutes total. Retake quarterly to track progress.
